The room has dual air conditioning on both levels and soundproof windows. Upstairs, there is a spacious bedroom with exposed chestnut beams and bedside tables with lamps hanging from the ceiling. SUITE PALADINO
Via Giovanni Paladino represents one of the main hubs of Spaccanapoli. The cardini
were the streets that intersect the decumani, typical of the city plans of Magna Graecia. The Paladino room, which owes its name to the street it overlooks,
PalàSuites, is one of the largest rooms in the building, approximately 45 square meters, spread over two
levels. On the lower level is a comfortable living room with a sofa bed, glass coffee table and
armchairs, a smart TV, and Wi-Fi, allowing you to enjoy a private relaxation area,
completely separate from the sleeping area. The room has large, independent spaces and is therefore
suitable for up to four people. The chandelier,
made entirely of iron and suspended with steel tie rods, was designed by architect Salvatore
Piacentino and handcrafted. The room overlooks the building's large courtyard
with a small French balcony, has dual air conditioning on both levels,
and soundproof windows. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with
exposed chestnut beams on the ceiling and bedside tables with pendant lamps.
COSTANTINOPOLI
The suite takes its name from the church of the same name, dedicated to the Madonna of Constantinople, which, as legend has it, had an image right where the current temple stands. Just outside the ancient path of the cardini and decumani, The road has some important monumental churches overlooking it.
The origin of the road's layout can be traced back to the time of the viceroy Don Pedro de Toledo, author of an important urban expansion plan of the Naples of the sixteenth century, the initial intention was to have the street flow into a gate that was then present, sp;the gate of Constantinople, demolished in 1852.
Today the street is full of antique shops and bookshops. Santa Maria di Costantinopoli is one of the streets in the historic center of Naples, which bears the name of the church of the same name. conventual on the corner of piazzetta Museo Nazionale1 (2).
It is traced straight from piazza Bellini, quartier San Lorenzo and dies on a hilly spur on the site where the Cavallerizza Palace will first rise, transformed into the Royal Faculty of Studies and, then, finally, by Charles of Bourbon, reused as a Museum, the San Carlo all'A district sand.
In the ancient Neapolitan views, where the very idea of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli as a church is actually missing, p;true and proper connecting route as it is today, one observes from the National Museum side the hill termin are in a ravine tuff cliff above which have always dominated by the colossal buildings of Ch Church of the Mother of God in Santa Teresa degli Scalzi, the Colosimo in the Stella neighborhood and further down at the bottom of the valley a late seventeenth-century village known by the toponym of Cavaiole, anticipates the Borgo dei Vergini to the north.
The The portal of the Conca Palace, close to the excavation site on the Greco-Roman walls, was believed to be of Catalan origin.
SUITE PORTALBA
The suite takes its name from the famous gate; between Dante and Bellini lies Port'Alba... The gate connects the two squares dedicated respectively to the great poet and the great composer. Essentially, it's a sort of double gate: the one called Port'Alba, which faces Piazza Dante, leads onto a very short street that then opens through another archway into Piazza Bellini. A double gateway, therefore, to a street also called Port'Alba, known for its numerous shops with street stalls selling new and, especially, used books. These shops, in truth, are increasingly giving way to cafés, pizzerias, and public places in general. Moreover, the nearby Piazza Bellini has become one of the heart of Naples' nightlife, a favorite spot for aperitivo and a gathering place for thousands of people, especially young people. Sweets stalls and street performers contribute to the life and vitality of this gate, which dates back to the 17th century.
NILO Queen Superior
The Nile Room is unlike any other room in the building. It takes its name from the Piazzetta Nilo, which it overlooks with its balcony, furnished with chairs and a small table, allowing you to immerse yourself directly in the sounds, colors, and vibrancy of one of Europe's busiest historic centers. The marble statue of the god Nile, which gives its name to the square, recounts the presence of the Alexandrians of Egypt, who settled in this part of the city during the Greek period. Piazzetta Nilo is located along the famous Spaccanapoli, right at the beginning of Via San Biagio dei Librai, one of the three decumani of Greco-Roman Naples: we are right in the heart of the old town, and it is no coincidence that the square and the statue of the god Nile that characterizes it are known as "the Body of Naples."
The square's unique feature is that it has retained the same name for over two thousand years, ever since a significant number of natives of Alexandria, Egypt, settled in that part of the city and erected the statue of the Nile to commemorate their distant homeland. The statue depicts the god Nile as a bearded old man with a cornucopia (a symbol of abundance for the ancients) in his right arm, his side resting on a rock, and his feet on a crocodile's head.
The very spacious and bright room, approximately 45 square meters, features a vaulted ceiling entirely frescoed with floral motifs from the early 1900s. The very spacious bathroom, equipped with a bidet, has a gap in the ceiling through which you can admire an incredible fresco, probably from the 16th century. The room is completed by a romantic four-poster bed.
Suite DONNAROMITA
The Donnaromita Room owes its name to the view it enjoys of the dome of the ancient church of Santa Maria Donnaromita. The room is a suite structured on two levels, with a height of 6.4 meters and a total surface area of 48 square meters. It is accessed directly from the living room, equipped with a sofa bed, armchair, glass table and armchairs, and a balcony overlooking Via Paladino furnished with two chairs and a coffee table, very charming for a coffee or an aperitif overlooking the lively historic center. The first level offers the traveler the opportunity to enjoy a living area completely separate from the sleeping area, where they can entertain, relax, work, or even receive guests for business reasons. The upper level features a double bed and a large bathroom with bidet. The room can accommodate up to 5 people.
Junior Suite GUANTAI
The room takes its name from Via Guantai Nuovi, one of the oldest streets in the historic center, which owes its name to the presence of artisans who made both refined gloves for the finest Neapolitan nobility and rough work gloves. The "Guantai" room is spread over two levels, with a height of 6.40 meters and a total floor area of 59.40 square meters, comfortably accommodating 6 people. The double level also allows for a good deal of privacy during the stay. The headboard of the master double bed is made from a 1920 glove chest salvaged from a former shop on Via Toledo that sold fine and elegant handcrafted gloves. The bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe, a glass coffee table, and armchairs.
The mezzanine level features a double bed that can be split into two single beds upon request.
The bedroom, in addition to being very spacious, also features an outdoor balcony with chairs and a table overlooking Via Paladino. The 4-meter-high windows flood the room with light throughout the day.
The bathroom is located on the first floor and does not have a bidet, but it does have a shower head connected to the toilet.
